High-Efficiency Air Pollution Control for Industrial Environments
Reconsky Fiber Glass Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and supplier of robust FRP (Fibre-Reinforced Plastic) Scrubbers, engineered for superior removal of hazardous fumes, gases, and particulates from process exhaust streams. Our advanced scrubbers help industries achieve strict air quality compliance, material protection, and a safer working environment.
What is an FRP Scrubber?
An FRP Scrubber is a highly efficient air pollution control device that leverages the exceptional corrosion resistance and strength of fiberglass-reinforced plastics. Using carefully selected scrubbing media—either wet or dry—our scrubbers wash and neutralize harmful gases with precision, resulting in clean, compliant exhaust air.

Frequently asked questions
A PP FRP blower is an industrial fan or exhaust blower whose housing and key components are made from polypropylene (PP) reinforced with fiberglass (FRP), specifically designed for handling corrosive fumes and gases. This construction provides excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and many solvents, which quickly corrode conventional MS blowers used in chemical and electroplating plants. Compared with FRP-only designs, PP FRP blowers combine the chemical inertness of PP in the gas-contact layer with FRP structural reinforcement, improving mechanical strength and service life. They are widely preferred for fume extraction, scrubber exhaust, and ventilation in chemical, pharma, ETP, pickling lines, and laboratories where corrosive air is present continuously. For plants in Gujarat’s industrial belts, these blowers offer reliable performance under harsh atmospheric and process conditions with significantly lower maintenance.
Reconsky manufactures PP FRP blowers in a broad range of capacities, typically from around 200 m³/hr up to 100,000 m³/hr or higher, making them suitable for small laboratory systems as well as large scrubber or process exhaust installations. Static pressure capabilities generally extend up to about 800 mm WC, with customised designs available for special requirements. Blowers are offered in centrifugal and axial configurations, with options such as single inlet single width (SISW), double inlet double width (DIDW), horizontal and vertical mounting to match plant layout. Drive arrangements include direct drive and belt drive, allowing optimisation for efficiency, speed control, and maintenance convenience. This wide range enables designers and OEMs to select the most efficient, space-saving solution for fume extraction, scrubber exhaust, and ventilation in corrosive zones.
Reconsky designs impellers with precisely balanced forward-curved or backward-curved blades to deliver the required airflow and pressure with minimal vibration and noise. Housings are fabricated from thick, seamless PP FRP laminates that provide uniform chemical resistance and structural stability, preventing distortion or leakage over long service periods. Dynamic balancing of impellers, accurate alignment of drive components, and robust base frames minimise vibration and extend bearing and motor life. The non-metallic, corrosion-proof construction eliminates blade pitting and scaling commonly seen in MS blowers handling acidic fumes. As a result, users benefit from quieter operation, fewer breakdowns, and consistent performance in continuous-duty applications.
Standard PP FRP blowers are suitable for handling gases from approximately -10 °C up to about +90 °C in continuous duty, covering most chemical, pharmaceutical, and ETP fume extraction requirements. The PP contact layer provides strong resistance to inorganic acids, alkalis, and salt-laden air, while FRP reinforcement ensures mechanical strength under temperature variations. For higher-temperature or specialised gas streams, alternative design considerations and materials can be evaluated based on duty cycle and gas composition. These blowers are well suited for exhaust from pickling baths, scrubbers, chemical reactors, and ETP equalisation tanks, where metallic equipment would suffer rapid corrosion. Proper selection of gaskets, shaft seals, and motors ensures safe operation in aggressive atmospheres.
Reconsky’s engineering team sizes PP FRP blowers based on required airflow, static pressure, duct routing, scrubber or hood resistance, and gas composition to ensure correct selection for each application. For new installations or retrofits, inlet and outlet dimensions, base frames, and motor mounting are coordinated for seamless integration with existing ducts and scrubbers. Comprehensive documentation including performance curves, GA drawings, and material specifications supports consultant approval and EHS reviews. After commissioning, Reconsky provides guidance on routine inspection, lubrication, belt tensioning (for belt-drive units), and spare parts to maintain long-term reliability. With strong service support across Gujarat and India, customers receive prompt assistance for troubleshooting, upgrades, or future capacity expansion.
